Frames: extreme close up

Frame: Extreme close up.
An extreme close up shot is used mainly to get a shot of someone or something in extreme detail and to show a certain feature or certain part of the subject in the shot. A director may choose to use this specific frame because they would like the audience to focus on something specific. 

 An extreme close up shot on someone would be used to convey a specific emotion. In most TV shows and films a extreme close up shot that is used is usually on a person’s eyes to assist a scene in becoming more dramatic.  For example:

An extreme close up shot on something would be used to display an object in most detail and to show and objects purpose in the film or TV show. A director would use an extreme close up on an object because they want to capture a shot and help the audience to focus on what the object is and what it represents. For example:
