Camera movement: Pan

Camera movement: Pan.
A director would use a camera pan because it allows the mundane to become more exciting. A panning shot would most likely be used in a scene where an actor would be running or moving at a fast pace. A panning shot is also used for scenery or a landscape shot.
A panning shot with someone included within it would most likely be used if the actor was running or moving at a fast pace and the camera needs to keep in with them. A panning shot with someone in it could also be used if the actor or another person is entering the scene, for example through a door. For example:

A panning shot with an object included within it is rare, however a panning shot could be used to capture scenery or of landscape. A director would use it so that the audience engages and is familiar with what the setting and tone of the scene is. For example:
